Special BulletinThe Florida Board of Medicine issued a 90-day moratorium on performing combination liposuction-abdominoplasty procedures in an outpatient setting. This moratorium went into effect on February 12, 2004. The Palm Harbor Plastic Surgery Centre will support this action as patient safety has always been the number one priority of our surgeons and our facility. Our surgeons are all certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and our facility is accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities. We will continue to perform all other plastic surgical procedures including abdominoplasty, liposuction among others. If you are a candidate for a combined procedure such as abdominoplasty and liposuction, our surgeons will schedule your procedure out of our facility at one of the local hospital ambulatory facilities.
