(Irvine, California) has developed two new facial dermal fillers, Juvederm™ Ultra and the more robust Juvederm Ultra Plus, shown in clinical trials to provide long lasting correction with unprecedented smoothness. These next-generation hyaluronic acid (HA) based fillers are currently FDA approved for moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. As with similar fillers, the HA in Juvederm products binds with water to create volume that temporarily corrects facial Rhytids. Juvederm is produced through HYLACROSS technology creating a high degree of cross-linking and and promoting duration.
