It's every woman's curse. Fat is definitely a fact of life from the
time we reach puberty until the day we die. Throughout one's life, the level of body
fat tends to increase, causing the appearance of unsightly bulges on the stomach, thighs
and buttocks. Bad eating habits, a sedentary lifestyle and aging only make it worse.
In women, fat is often the result of hormonal variations particularly acute during
pregnancy and menopause. When fat cells grow bigger at the hypodermic level, the
subcutaneous connective tissue becomes compressed and hardened, making blood circulation
more difficult. This leads to unnatural tensions on the dermis and epidermis,
causing the skin to become bumpy, uneven and withered. In a day and age when women
struggle to remain young, slim and seductive, fat is no doubt the number one enemy.
